Remote Auditing In Response to COVID-19

PREPARING FOR REMOTE AUDITS WITH ISA (DEMO)

At ISA, our auditors and staff are ready to assist our clients through the coming months with certification needs as we all do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our audit approach in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic is in accordance with IAQG and ANAB notices. This approach involves conducting audits remotely using email, video conferencing, and screen sharing softwares.

Email and screen share software will be utilized to audit procedures, records, reports, internal audits, etc. Utilizing screen share is the most ideal way to conduct a remote audit as it cuts down on the amount of data and information transferred between the certified organization and ISA. Additionally, video conferences will be set up for real-time interactions with clients such as meetings and interviews. For certifications and standards that require a site visit or specific processes to be followed on the “shop floor”, a webcam or video call from a mobile device can be used. For example, technology such as a GoPro can be an effective tool for live-streaming processes.

As we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our staff and clients remains our top priority as well as maintaining the quality of our audit process and services.
